Selectism - Core77 Flagship Opens in Portland, OR

A huge congrats to Core77 on the opening of their flasghip shop in Portland, OR. The ID based web site turns terrestrial and we could not be happier. “We are excited to be located in Portland and to be able to take part in the historic – and accelerating – culture of craftsmanship and creative labor which lives here. The store is for both ‘creative types’ and those who love them (and really, now-a-days, who doesn’t?) – it is built to appeal with a selection of the basic tools of creative work – pencils, paper, pens – a line-up of high-quality tools and fabrication implements – foam cutters! wrenches! – and a wide variety of task-specific clothing made for the shop or studio”

core77 dutch master bicycle 1 Core77 Dutch Master Limited Bicycle

ID superstar blog, Core77, drop exciting news regarding their new Dutch Master Limited Bicycle. “The Dutch Master is based on the beloved Worksman cruiser frame—a workhorse foundation used throughout the New York delivery community, and manufactured in Queens, New York for over 110 years. Core77 customized the frame, fitting it out with a carefully curated set of components, each with its own story.” Looks as though most of the bike assembly was done in Brooklyn – from the wheels to the frame. A great looking cruiser.

Italian travel and luggage company, Piquadro, and the “University of Florence School of Architecture collaborated to present 14 travel bag concepts developed by the 3rd year Industrial Design students.
