Cosmic Wonder Light Source ‘Native’ Jacket

Proxy talk and Cosmic Wonder Light Source are two things that go hand in hand. So it’s nice to see them on western shores and stores, even though the shipping fees and taxes make you realise why more stores don’t buy brands from Japan. The world’s a huge global village until you have to pay some shipping fees. This is a great jacket though, great for the folks who don’t want to go too far too soon on their patterned outerwear. Here’s a timeless classic for all you staple lovers. This Cosmic Wonder Light Source shirt is sure to be a bright spot (geddit?) in anyone’s wardrobe. And, let’s face it, who could say no to a contrast collar striped shirt with a massive circle in the middle of it? Don’t answer that – no one can. (B Store)

Cosmic Wonder Light Source Jacket

Here’s some coating goodness from Cosmic Wonder. We’ve been rather button obsessed lately but the buttons on these do make the jacket again. It’s another proxy number but if you’re sure you’ll fit into it, it’s worth the hassle. (Mindtrive)

Cosmic Wonder Light Source Shawl Collar Jumper

At this point, we’re wondering if we’ll ever tire of shawl collars (short answer: no). This one’s from Cosmic Wonder Light Source and, shawl collar aside, what really attracted us was the pattern. It’s a hit or miss thing but it really works on the beige version of this (not so much on the red). Get your proxy on at Mindtrive.

Cosmic Wonder Light Source Trainers

Here’s a summer trainer with a (small) difference. There’s no prizes for guessing where the influence for these trainers come from, but the laces give it enough of a twist to make it worthwhile. And, as with all things Japan, you’ll have to get your proxy on. (Mindtrive)

Cosmic Wonder Light Source Check Shirt

Selectism - Cosmic Wonder Light Source Check Shirt

We might as well give up the fight – check shirts are here to stay. This is the first season we’ve seen the shirt referred to as a staple, which is short hand for ‘they keep on selling, so we’ll keep on making them’. So we might as well start finding the best ones. This Cosmic Wonder Light Source shirt is just colourful enough for our liking – we’re not planning on running any towns, so the all black everything look isn’t for us. (Mindtrive)

Cosmic Wonder Light Source Cardigan

We love menswear’s current focus on quality basics, but every now and then you need a piece that’ll stand out. This Cosmic Wonder Light Source cardigan isn’t especially mind-blowing, but adds enough of a twist to the plain old grey cardigan to make it interesting. This may come as a surprise to some, but we don’t speak Japanese (we are seriously considering learning). According to our good ol’ friend google, this is made using organic cotton, which should please you environmentally friendly folk. You’ll need a proxy for this, but the price works out at around £170. (Mindtrive)

Take a look at the back after the leap.
