With almost nothing to do with menswear, we share the news that the much loved, loathed beauty names Lana Del Rey get the cover not for T Magazine’s Spring Women’s Fashion issue – out February 19th. The singer looks as good as we have seen her in this most natural of looks. Thank you for that, T Mag. Oh, and Terry Richardson shot the debutante styled looks.

And, Lana, keep smiling. A tough show will always make you stronger.

Ah. My glasses are finally back on. After Highsnobiety shared a twit-pic-esque look at the forthcoming Lindsey Lohan cover for Playboy, it was only a matter of time for a clear shot to emerge. We now have it.

The January/February 2012 issue of your “favorite men’s lifestyle magazine” features a million dollar spread with Ms. Lohan. What exactly will be seen on the inside is still a bit in the air. For now, we tease.

Their just released October issue focuses on the “state of man.” While Beckhan might be the best first choice for pulling in those eyeballs, the content inside looks to be more interesting with content that brings a more academic look into topics such as “Death of a Playboy” with its look at the death of the international playboy and one of the weirdest plays in the world of content-wrapped shopping pitting Leonardo Girombelli, fashion director of thecorner.com against Jeremy Langmead, editor in chief of mrporter.com in a battle to decide who actually knows best as to what men want. I hope someone has a serious answer, goddammit.

Unboxing and technology dissections are so common these days that there are websites which track and report on them almost on the daily. How many times can I watch a guide on unpacking an Asus or iPod? But even I was way interested when NotCot published their dissection of Esquire’s 75th Anniversay E-Ink Cover. “As a random Sunday amusement, couldn’t help picking it up from the newsstand, and as much as i resisted, i lasted a few minutes before i HAD to rip it apart and poke at the digital guts. So on the next page you can see video of it before and after, pictures of how it works, and scans as well!”
