Dazed Digital presents backstage action from Pringle of Scotland’s Autumn Winter 2012. Alastair Carr’s second collection is best seen up close with knitwear being the star of the show as ever. Roll-necks, textured knits, camel overcoats and double breasted blazers, Alastair describes  ”I wanted a clear luxury palette, a cleaner idea compared to last season. The idea was to create a whole wardrobe.

It feels very British thanks to the cherry red!” See Dazed Digital for more.

Laszlo skate photos 01 Andreas Laszlo Konrath: Back to Mystery City

Dazed Digital introduce us to the fantastic work of English photographer Andreas Laszlo Konrath. Currently residing in NYC, he recently took his 35mm to Finland to shoot the Perus crew, Helsinki skaters on a mission to ride every piece of concrete in the city. Konrath started out shooting subjects of a more ’street culture’ variety but after an appearance on PDN’s list of 30 emerging photographers, he soon found himself  working on large scale fashion, music and editorial projects. The ‘Back to Mystery City’ series will be released as a zine in collaboration with acclaimed independent booksellers, Dashwood Books. More over at Dazed Digital.

Something about Mr. Touitou draws me in everytime. Maybe it’s that the man turned a basics line into an internationally recognized label on the strength of high quality well priced denim. “The man behind the brand that has produced some of Paris’ most classic pieces is driven by a revolutionary conception of fashion. He says he hates rock n roll but it’s not true…”
