“Maison Martin Margiela on Tuesday showcased its new furniture prototypes and home objects at the international furniture and design exhibition Salone del Mobile here.
Wallpaper, bookshelves, lamps and carpets were some of the new items on display in the showroom, which reproduced the company’s interior design workshop in Paris.
The project is still a work-in-progress and will likely range from the design of objects and furniture in a self-produced collection or in the development of one-off partnerships, according to Pungetti.
