I have to admit that this blue leather tote from Diesel’s Black Gold Collection is a great look. The leather tote is roomy at 18×18inches and should wear in well with usage. CNBC’s Jim Cramer made mention recently that the economies in the BRIC nations of Brasil, Russia, India, and China, was on a down turn. "Crumbling" being the other term being toss around. I do not think anyone mentioned this to a core of companies that are opening doors and magazines in the country of India, which has seen some crazy GDP growth in the last two decades. Luxury goods and fashion may be finally catching on and gaining steam Earlier this month, GQ India was launched in the country and today, DNR is reporting that both Armani and Diesel are planning outposts with Armani heading to the Emporio Mall of New Dehli. D&G is also reportedly opening doors in the same mall.

Diesel Denim Gallery has produced two pairs of jeans aimed at the denim addict. Woven on the famed looms of Okayama, Japan, the new items come in 14oz denim. The dye is hand done, and each pair comes in a delicate rice paper bag. Apart from the pure indigo version above, a washed pair is also out.

With all the talk floating in regards to Hedi Slimane’s return to the LVMH family, as well as with his talks with Diesel’s chairman Bernard Arnault, it should come as no surprise that eventually something solid would output. It is now looking more and more like the  outcome will initially be a Red Collection designed by Slimane for Diesel. As WWD reports, “a collaboration with Slimane would fit in with Rosso’s modus operandi. This year, Rosso launched the Diesel Black Gold collection to provide a more sophisticated option for his customer.”
