ACL comes through with a exclusive look at the new RRL Bowery Boot. “Through my thorough detective work I got my hands on photos of a limited edition pair of bench-made leather boots. As one would expect from RRL, all of the bona fides are present and accounted for. Made in the USA from Horween leather with vintage deadstock Cat Paw heels. The super small quantity (multiple dozens) will be available mid to late August at RRL stores for $750. Rumor is each shop will get a few pairs and that is it..”

Ralph Lauren Double RL Melrose

Racked LA brings us images of the newly opened Ralph Lauren Double RL store in Melrose. The Double RL store looks situated inside an old mechanic garage.  From Racked,

“Upon entry, the merchandising starts off with a British hunting vibe, morphing quickly into the familiar vintage collegiate look one would associate with RL, then heads more into a badboy-biker-knife-fighter look. There are tons of cords, cargo pants, and rugged, sometimes-studded leather….Everything is so seamlessly merchandised, it took us a moment to realize some pieces are actual vintage from the 1940’s, which is what inspired the collection in the first place.”
