The byproduct of duffles being back in fashion is that toggles are regaining their cool. Their journey is similar to the cardigan – both were outcast for years, both were seen solely as grandad wear and now both have been brought back from the fashion wilderness. Judging from the most recent collections, the next pieces to come crawling out of the woods will be cargo pants. We’re serious. Be very afraid.

We love the Y’s Mandarina bag collection here at Selectism and are even happier to see retailers getting their stock of Spring/Summer bags. Men.style turns us onto these leather duffle bags from Steven Alan. Priced well at 138$ each, these wash cotton based duffles are pretty damn simple with their snap pockets. Not much more to them beyond the expected class. To the point. Proper. Available in a variety of colors from Steven Alan.

Waxed textiles are trending well right now and Makr is adding their own spin to the whole movement with two new products – a strap tote and a strap tube duffel. Both bags are made from heavy duty waxed canvas and feature riveted black leather straps. The tote and tube duffel retail for 295$US and 395$ respectively from Makr.

The Raf Simons x Eastpack collaboration collection, that we presented to you already a couple of months ago has now been released at Oki-Ni. They got in several different backpack styles as well as a duffle style backpack. Innovative cuts, as well as colors, make this collaboration stand out. With the constant feed of Head Porter luggage, the collaboration is a nice alternative.
