Men.style comes through with some internal shots of the new Earnest Sewn store in Los Angeles. “he 1,200-square-foot outpost, designed by Earnest Sewn’s president and designer Scott Morrison (the same guy who hand-stamps each finished pair of jeans), stocks all of the brand’s collections and offers an option to order custom-made jeans.” The store has a great classic men’s store feel to the inside. We hope it smells a bit of cigar smoke and dampness. Probably not. The store is located at 3835 Cross Creek Rd. in Malibu.

For over 90 years, Moscot has been an eyewear “institution” in New York City. The Moscot Classic frame sets are very recognizable and still continue to sell well decades past their introduction.

To complement their three doors in NYC, Moscot, in conjunction with denim rockers, Earnest Sewn, will open a a pop-up shop inside Sewn’s NY digs highlighting their collaborative “Buffalo Horn MOSCOT Lemtosh frames.” As noted on R29, “Earnest Sewn’s 420-square-foot installation space will be designed in homage to MOSCOT’s initial Rivington location, a shop that once gave the gift of sight (and cool) to Buddy Hollys, Johnny Depps, and plain old ladies alike.” Look for it in April.

Earnest Sewn, the denim paradise, always hosts little pop-up stores in its back rooms of their Meatpacking District location. French brand Repetto was in there for the past three month and now coming up is Trovata. The Californian brand with mainly typical American Life influences will offer their collections in the space for a 3 months period. Via Refinery29.
