While most collaborations seem like a desperate cash grab or a vanity project designed so someone can see their name on a product, others just make sense. Edwin and Folk’s collaboration was the latter. We quizzed Edwin’s Rey Gaultier and Folk’s Cathal McAteer about how the project came together and their thoughts about collaborating, heritage becoming a buzzword and their respective strengths.

One of the highlights of Bread and Butter was Edwin’s SS10 collection and we can give you a tiny preview of what’s to come. To no ones surprise, denim makes an appearance in this collection – but we can also show you a couple of non-denim pieces that’ll make you realise just why we liked this collection so much.

We know you’ve probably seen a thousand denim shirts by now but bear with us – this one is (slightly) different. First off, the fade is in between the usual light or dark washes we see on shirts, making this an useful addition to your wardrobe should you have either of those washes already.
