For those who followed my Twitter feed last week, you will have noted a number of photos featuring Bentley automobiles. The reason, of course, was a wonderful factory tour of the Bentley facility in Crewe, England, about an hour from Manchester. Over the course of two days in Crewe, a handful of friends and I were given some pretty open access on their factory floor as well as inside Mulliner, their made-to-order customization showroom. In the coming days, we’ll show you much more from inside Bentley.

Mr. Williams loves driving and visiting those long forgotten factories in the USA making everything we love. Recently, he visited the Schott factory in New Jersey. Schott is serous business. At one tradeshow a few years ago, they even yelled at me for taking photos of pieces I was approved to take photos of. That’s resistance at its best. “Schott Bros. Seattle based photographer Charles Peterson, is best known for his works chronicling the music scene in Seattle during 80’s and 90’s and especially for his photography that graces Nirvana’s debut LP, Bleach. In recent times, he has shot campaigns for the likes of Dr. Martens and published his collected photos in the book, Touch Me I’m Sick .

Mr. Peterson also has an extensive collection of photos shot inside the Filson Factory in Seattle which still manufacturers all of Filson’s outdoor wears and bags. The factory is located behind Filson’s Seattle Flagship store. Visit charlespeterson.net for the full gallery.
