Anthony Hendrickson and Cedric Haughton are the minds behind NY’s latest “high end” fashion line, Thirdfloor. Thirdfloor New York fuses “futuristic regimental chic with an eternal youthful edge.” The collection is inspired by “abstract armory, disobedience within a private academic environment and recurring issues of mental entrapment.” (williamyan)

Los Angeles based martinMartin may be ten years old but they’re first offering into menswear has only come with their recent Spring/Summer offering. For Autumn/Winter 2009, martinMartin MAN works with woven and stretch material fabrics to bring their own spin to the ever evolving world of goth inspired avante-garder fashion. Clear influences are pulled from the Japanese and French goth movements.

There is a certain perceived stuffiness in the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection from Robert Geller. Forgive me but the wears remind me of tight Victorian Age fashions that accentuate the figure rather than the individual. With that said, Geller does take aim and brightening the colorwheel for Autumn with shades of purple and bush. Falco friendly wears from Robert Geller.

ACL gets some first looks at the forthcoming Steven Alan Autumn/Winter collection for 2009. I know MW is a big fan of the line and the designer himself. In his own words, “I have always thought that Steven Alan — the collection — is the perfect encapsulation of my style. Rumpled and plaid, but dressy and casual. Perfectly disheveled. The AW09 range is no different. Mr. Alan puts forward another solid collection of clothes I just want to own and wear. ”

On the “heels” of our Acne shoe preview yesterday, we bring you some boots to look over this morning. The gum sole on the “Trance” models seem a bit bottom heavy for my tastes. The “Rocky” on the other hand brings a modern twist to the classic workbook. Again, the green finish is my favorite of the group.
