Spellbound will be showcasing their new offering for A/W 2010 at (capsule) Paris at the end of the month. For those not able to attend, they offer us a preview of the denim looks – from shirting to jeans – in distressed and close to raw form. My favorite may be the indigo dyed hoodie. We cannot wait to feel this garment which can only feel like butter.

The Rubber Jacket especially absorbed and displayed the moving pin prick lights beautifully. Heritage Research sends over some preview looks of their forthcoming Autumn 2010 footwear collection. We finally have a look at their Viberg collaborative boot and more. “The HR Country Brogue and Monkey Boots are benchmade in Northampton, England. The Country Brogue is made from pale grey suede and the Monkey Boot from tan bullhide… The Viberg for HR Mountain Boot is constructed from a one piece upper with no side seams made from Red Dog Steer leather and has a goodyear welt Vibram sole. The boots are fully leather lined and come with 200 gram Thinsulate padded insoles. ” The Viberg of Heritage Research boots are exclusive to I.T. in Hong Kong.

ACNE made available their pre-Autumn collection today. One stand out piece was the Chary patch jacket. “Sophisticated suede patch jacket in three tones of blue. I’ll be honest. Up to this point there have not been many colors in the Native collection that appealed to me. Have we also shied away from EVA based shoes? I think we have but things can change of course. I guess time and the market do help push things such as their “The Jefferson” model to be more friendly to my feet. With their Autumn 2010 collection, we’re seeing a new range of colors that work – as does their sub 45$US price point. Wear and use as necessary. Just be sure to choose a good color. My favorites are below.

I’m sweating just writing this…

189 gets a hold of some new looks at the Marni Autumn/Winter 2010 offering. As they mention, Marni, “predictably uses brown/mustard tones and focuses mainly on the warmer wear, suited to the season of course. The range seems to have a good balance, no item is too overpowering, so you could customise each piece with other items from the collection.”
