Lanvin also spices up their overly popular sneaker line this season and presents as part of the Fall/Winter 2008 collection the new side-zip sneakers. They come in both high-top and low-top versions in a series of colors. We especially like the beige/gold colorway, which is perfect for nice fall days. Quality is of course top, but unfortunately the price too. 

They go for 730 USD and are now available at Barneys.

When thinking about classic sportswear, Loro Piana is one of the first coming to mind. The Italian brand has proofed over the years that it consistently redefines classic sportswear at the highest level of quality. 

Today we took a closer look at their Fall/Winter 2008 lookbook and that by itself is a piece of beauty. Combining hand-drawn looks with perfectly matching product shots turns out to be the right formula, at least for us. Perfect assembly of outfits, to a degree where you can feel the outstanding quality by simply looking at the images.

Italian brand Tod’s is for us a little bit like Ralph Lauren. Of course it depends on the season, but in most cases you can always count on them and can be sure that they have a couple of nice shoes in the collection.

This season, aside from their exotic leather driving shoes, this leather sneaker is one of our favorite. It features wingtip detailing and is elegant, yet sporty. The sneaker comes in brown and black and is now available in Tod’s Stores worldwide.

The new B Clothing Fall/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Tres Bien. We especially like the shirts by the London based label. They are smart, different, yet very wearable and easy to match with a lot of outfits.

The new Garbstore Fall/Winter 2008 colllection has been released. The UK brand has impressed us so far and continues to do so with their new collection. Offering vintage inspired clothing, always with the right amount of details and perfect choice in materials. Certainly something we have not seen from many new brands, coming from Europe or the US.

The Garbstore online store now carries first pieces of the Fall/Winter 2008 collection, including different kinds of jackets, as well as shirts.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, Undercover presents this series of backpacks. Inspired by American culture and hiking gear, the backpack comes in a variety of colors and with a multitude of functions, while still keeping an overall artisanal appearance.

We could not resist completing the outfit from the new Fall/Winter 2008 collection of Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus, that we presented to you a couple of days ago. Matching come these classic suite shoes with tartan pattern on the upper. 

We do not advice to wear it all matching!

The new collection by Danish designer Henrik Vibskov has landed at Tres Bien. As usual the Fall/Winter 2008 collection offers a variety of superb knitwear, something that we enjoy most by the designer. Also the cuts are once again very innovative and fresh, setting him apart from most other fashion out there.

At the same time we feel that line has become more balanced and also offers more subtle pieces, subtle mostly in color though. The brand sticks to its innovative culture and offers a nice alternative to the creative minds out there, that want something different.

We take a look at some key pieces out of the Peter Jensen Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Our favorites are the Fox Knit Sweater and the Wool Duffle Coat. Both pieces are classics, smarly re-interpreted by the designer. The Fox Knit Sweater comes with a certain amount of humor infused, but also looks great. The Wool Duffle Coat comes with hood, big buttons, just how we like it. It also comes with a nice cut, perfect for the late Fall and Winter.

We take a first look at the shoes of Jun Takashi’s Undercover Fall/Winter 2008 "UnrealRealClothes" collection. 

Inspired by Vans, one of his favorite shoe brands, the designer created his very own version of them and released them this season in several colorways. Overall they come in four colorways, each featuring an all-over print, as well as the Undercover logo on the heel and on the inner sole.

Most interesting though is the black dress shoe, which comes with a large outdoor boot sole. We have to admit, these we would have to see live in order to make up our mind! Pics via MS Yaming.
