Boat shoes have invaded the fashion market in the past couple of seasons. Manyoffered some nice styles, but we were especially excited about the collaboration by Band Of Outsiders and the ultimate classic in this market, Sperry Topsider. Why bothermaking something less good, if you can just work with the experts in the field? One of a few collaborations that make total sense.

Here we give you a preview what the two have coming up for the Fall/Winter 2008 season. They offer a nice selection of low cut boat shoes with some nice little twists. Also they offer high cut boots with both leather and felt uppers.

We give you a look at the Robert Geller Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The designer with German heritage has been trained after attending the Rhose Island School Of Design at Marc Jacobs. Since 2005 he runs his own label, carrying his name, with much success.

The new Fall/Winter 2008 collection stays very much in the grey/black tones and plays with layers as well as with different lengths of the layers. In other colors the look would have been more messy, but Robert Gellers color combinations make it work and give it an overall clean look.

Expect it to land soon in stores such as Odin NYC and Roden Gray Vancouver.

Brett Westfall of Unholy Matrimony has designed a couple of pieces for K.Z.O’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The man is staying busy, after just recently a collaboration between him and Comme Des Garcons had been released.

For K.Z.O. he designed a flannel shirt and a t-shirt. The shirt is definitely an interesting creation. The charcoal portion is made from a heavy weight cotton flannel while the yellow portion is of a slightly lighter weight. Both the t-shirt and the shirt come in very high quality and with a great amount of details.

Both pieces are now available at Blackbird.

The new Nom De Guerre Fall/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Oki-Ni. The first drop consists of a nice short parka, hooded shirt as well as some quality knitwear. Furthermore you will find classic selvedge denim and some accessories, including hats and matching scarf as well as a travel bag. All in all a subtle collection, but definitely not boring.

Paris’ movement brand, Surface 2 Air showcases their fall/winter 2008/09 collection with a full range collection offering a mix of denim, shirts, and special cut and sew looks for both men and women. The collection also includes shoes and leather bags as part of their accessories offering. The collection is available now at Surface 2 Air’s shop in Paris’ Marais District.
