The tundra of the winter is one of the most feared times for the common day cigarette smoker. In fact, many smokers, simply "cut-down" in the cold months to avoid the need for exterior inhalation at niteclubs, terraces, and streets. For them, we have to thank the Lord that Tobias Wong developed these Smoking Mittens fashioned with a nice metal eyelet to hold that cigarette firm while your fingers stay warm and stain free from the nicotine. Image, something to make it more cool to smoke in the winter! Hopefully we’ll get a mitten with a built in flask soon. Thanks to our friends at Fashion Indie for promoting the taboo. We love it.

Selectism - Fashoin Indie - 12 Best Indie Fashion Mags

When I troll the newsstands for new magazines to pick up and read, its usually done based on how little I can read of the foreign print. I’m all about Russian magazines right now. But some people pick up rags based on recommendations and a new Top 12 List has just been published by fashionindie.com. Unlike the recommendations inside of the book  from Magazine which we covered a few weeks ago, this top list is a bit more strict to fashion rather than design or culture.

Well worth a read before your next visit to the newsstand.
