We just featured the Our Legacy Fall/Winter 2008 collection this morning. Nevertheless we have to come back to the brand and show you their latest fixed gear bike – the Midnight Messenger 2008. 

During the last Capsule Paris show we shows you their first fixed gear bike, which came in all white. The Midnight Messenger comes in dark blue, brown leather seat and details on the front, as well as white detailed on the wheels. A beauty with only very minimalist branding, just like you would have expected from them. The bike comes limited to 30 pieces worldwide.

Scandinavian fashion house, Our Legacy has teams with England’s beloved Brooks Saddle and Leather Goods Company on producing this Our Legacy bike. No word on fabrication numbers for the frame. We’re looking at the usual deep white rims, threaded headset, and chrome fork…. oh, and a Brooks saddle (though is a little steep for my liking). The bike was previewed at (capsule) Paris. (via hq)

Bonhams NY is auctioning off what could be a one of a kind Tiffany’s item. This fixed gear Tiffany’s bike was built sometime during the 1890’s and sports what are essentially the same components found on modern day fixed gears: Brooks Saddle, a hand brake,and fixed rear cog. What is simply outstanding on this bike is the lugging which needs to be seen to believe. Pre-auction estimates put the Tiffany’s fixed gear somewhere in the neighborhood of 50k-70k$US. Alta Bikes has been announced a while ago, but until now they did not go on sale. Now 20ltd, the website we reported about earlier already, released their latest 20 limited edition products and the Alta Bike is among them.

Norwegian Alta Bikes is a three-way collaboration between product designers Frost Produkt, furniture designer Norway Says and graphic designers Bleed. The result of this collaboration is an uncompromising 2-wheel purity. Alta One is stripped of all unnecessary equipment and sticks to the essentials. 20ltd is offering this fixed gear bike in submarine grey in a limited edition of 10 pieces. One Alta Bike launches officially you will be able to choose your own color.

In case you are interested in Biomega Bikes, 20ltd have one up right now, a limited edition with raw stitched leather saddle and handlebars.
