Dazed Digital puts us onto the news that Damir Doma has recently opened a store in Paris. The label has been steadily growing for a while now, so it’s no surprise that they’ve recently made the leap to their own store. Like most flagship stores it also operates as a display of the company philosphy and approach to clothing. The store is located at 6 rue des Arquebusiers, 75003 Paris.

Monumental assemblies of constructed steel are almost a trademark for Louis Vuitton shops worldwide. Case in point is the latest construction from UNStudio for Louis Vuitton’s Japan Flagshop store. As Dezeen describes, "The design for the 10 storey (54 meter tall) flagship Louis Vuitton store in Japan aims to establish an architectural equivalent of the identity of Louis Vuitton in which classical and modern qualities are blended, reinforcing each other. The design inspires the visitor with a feeling of being in the House of Louis Vuitton by celebrating the qualities that make up the essence of the company, its products, its history and its future." On April 19th Comme des Garcons has opened their latest retail location, in Beijing and Seasons Place. The store has a very minimalist design and also shows hints at the recently opened Hong Kong location in terms of looks.

Here some exciting news. Alife NYC continues their expansion and after only recently opening their Los Angeles flagship store, have now the first flagship in Asia coming. Where else, but in Harajuku Japan could it be.

This coming Saturday, December 22nd, the new Alife TYO store will officially open its doors and carry the Alife apparel and footwear collections, collaborations and also footwear by Asics, Puma and Timberland. Via Honeyee.

After the recent opening of the Comme des Garcons, Bape and Visvim flagship stores in Hong Kong, the next Japanese brand is about to enter the line-up. Neighborhood will soon open a flagship store there as well. The store is already under construction, but no word on the opening date so far. Pic via Conope.
