Possibly some of the finest multi-coloured boot socks on the market, Wilderness Wear are made with functionality in mind. Even if you never put them to the test, it’s good to know you’ll be mountain and trek ready if you’re ever called into action. “The Merino Fleece sock is used, in the field, by both the Australian Antarctic Division and the Australian Defence Department personnel. The high merino yarn content coupled with the socks construction ensures warmth, durability and comfort.” We don’t know if the amazing colourways are a tech feature but they’re the real selling point for us. Highland Spectrum company shows us an amazing piece for the cold. The “Four Zip Pullover Fleece” is water resistant jacket that comes with a billed hood, zipper pulls and 4 pockets; hence the name of the jacket. At 85% polyester and 15% cotton, this jacket will surely endure the climates. A major plus is that the jacket is “Made in the USA.” The jacket is availble at Bastille.

I’m a total sucker for collegiate inspired garments. And, thanks to growing up in the ’80s and early ’90s a sucker for relatively large logos as well. Duffer’s spring/summer fleece offerings hit both marks, in particular the pictured “Burnside.” The piece comes in gray and navy, each with contrasting caramel buttons.

They are also easy on the wallet at a touch under 50 quid.

The Patagonia “big label” collection for Urban Outfitters collection which we mentioned back at the beginning of October has finally hit their brick and online stores.  Our favorite is the Patagonia Fleece Zip-Up which is “made from plush double-faced 85% recycled poly Synchilla fleece.” It features the classic Patagonia big label patch and comes in three classic colors – french red, turquoise, and charcoal. Not a bad deal at 99$US.

The signature grey jersey has become an emblem for Gap and thus Colette has commissioned several french brands to create their classics using the grey fleece.

The latest one to be released is the Longchamp Pliage Bag, an all-time classic. The Colette x Gap x Longchamp Pliage bag is now available in the Colette online store for 90 Euros.

Visvim released this week some new items of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Among the releases was the Beautiful Lug t-shirt and longsleeve. As usual it looks simple at first, but they played with the panels and added some useful features to them. Also they released the JV Hoodie in several colorways. The Visvim fleece is among the best out there and small details, such as the elk leather tag below the neck or on the hood, still manage to make these simple pieces special and worth their money.

We present you the upcoming Call Of The Wild Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The brand continues to explore working with panels and different materials. The new collection looks very interesting and smartly combines different materials, patterns and colors.

The Spring/Summer 2008 collection consists of t-shirts, longsleeves, hoodies, cardigans as well as some very cool shirts. Also the Spring/Summer collection brings a collaboration with Reebok on a hiking boot in two colorways.

We continue presenting you the Fall/Winter 2007 collection of Canadian brand Wings & Horns. Their knitwear and jackets that we presented earlier on were already impressive and the fleece collection by the brand is also one of the best in the market. The fleece is produced by the same factory that also produces Supreme and Alife winter fleece collections, therefore expect the same heavy fleece with perfect fit, just a little slimmer and with more details. A new material introduced just this season is the slatted fleece – soft inside with an almost ribbed detailing going throughout the body. They offer the hoodies also without sleeves.
