Montblanc celebrates the writing of Carlo Collodi’s Pinnochio with a special edition fountain pen under their Writers Edition series. The pen is pretty incredible. The cap is set in champagne colored gold and features a wonderful motif from the book. The nib is set in 18k gold  and engraved with a cricket. Well done.

If you’re taking time to print your own personal letter/note/cards all fancy with embossments circa pre-Internet, you might as well work witha  fine fountain pen to permanently embed that note. But do it with some modernity. This carbon fiber fountain pen from Kaweco AC Sport may do it for you. Screw-on nibs and all. Or buy a Rapidograph pen, which I personally enjoy.
