French cashmere expert Lucien Pellat Finet has collaborated this season with artist Kenny Scharf. The artist that became famous in the 80’s, is known for his fusion of fantastic fiction and pop culture – cartoon like characters from an imaginary universe. 4 caricatures from his early works were taken and put onto the fine cashmere of the French brand.

In other news, there is also a new Lucien Pellat Finet flagship store now in London – 51 Elizabeth Street!

Beginning of December Japanese retailer Uniqlo arrived in France and opened its first store in Paris. It’s good seeing Uniqlo expanding outside of Japan. The brand has a great range of basics to offer every season and a great price point.

French sneaker brand Spring Court has finally also released a US website. The brand has for many years made some of the most classic white sneakers and continues to do so. Traditionally a tennis brand, Spring Court specializes in canvas sneakers and offers several models, both low, mid and high in their collection. Especially for the summer, a nice Spring Court sneaker is always a good choice.

French cult label A.P.C. has now released a new Karaoke CD. It is great seeing a brand being to consequent about their communication. That is also reflected again in this CD, having tracks such as Like A Virgin by Madonna, Dead End Streets by The Kinks and at the same time Too Much by The Spice Girls. It’s now available here.
