Burberry’s Japan only Black Label continues to be all elusive and mysterious to those of us residing outside of Asia. This look at Autumn Winter reveals plenty of high quality casual wear aimed at a younger audience. The standard duffle appears in black wool, sheepskin and aran cardigan forms. Wide stripes, fur trimmed parkas and plenty of slim legged trousers, alongside crew necks of various hues. Nice and simple, more at EMM.

Again, this is a progressive push that does not pull from that current heavy trends. This collection stands with the likes of those looking for a fresh take.

Moncler once again made sure to impress the fashion week scene with their choice of presentation and especially location. The brand presented their Autumn/Winter 2011 Grenoble collection at Grand Central Station. A large flash mob dance party was organized, with all participants wearing the new Moncler Grenoble Collection. Travelers walked by, stopped, took pictures and participated. We can only say “WOW”.

For the first time Scott Sternberg showcased his Band of Outsiders collection for Autumn/Winter 2011 on the runway, during New York Fashion Week. The LA designer continues to present his smart schoolboy look. He was inspired by 70s hiking for the coming season and smartly mixes that with his signature look. Fur jackets and accessories certainly stand out and the footwear was once again provided from the Band of Outsiders for Sperry Top-Sider Collection, which featured an interesting mid cut boot this time around.

Loden Dager presented their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection this weekend during New York Fashion Week. The knits stand out for the season – color blocks and snowflakes work well against sweaters and pull-overs – as do those mustard drawstring pants. Some Southern influence is seen as well. This weekend the GANT by Michael Bastian Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection was presented during New York Fashion Week. The designer continues to present his preppy American look, presenting beautiful blazers, a nice set of camouflage items and just overall nice details in his collection.

Billy Reid has presented his new Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection in New York this weekend. The collection plays with nice dark fall tones on updated menswear classics. A simple, yet sophisticated look was showcased by the designer.
