British designer and king of noir Gareth Pugh isn’t a designer we’d describe as accessible. More theatrical than your average label, he’s generally one for the hardcore ‘Fashion’ crew. However, his accessories do offer some more sedate options. We like this Ipad case, geometric lines taken form his Autumn Winter ‘Tessellating’ print, this one is constructed from soft padded protective leather and features gold hardware and a handy wrist strap. Oki-ni has it.

SHOWstudio showcases the Gareth Pugh Pitti presentation video. One commenter suggest that the intro pays homage to “With a collection inspired by religious iconography and Florentine opulence, Gareth Pugh made his Italian fashion debut at Pitti Immagine #79, showcasing his clothes via a unique fashion film, created with Ruth Hogben.”

CqC brings us looks from Gareth Pugh’s Autumn/Winter 2010 runway presentation. The three looks above are what I consider to be the most conservative from this collection which focuses strongly on silhouettes that look cut (or rather borrow) from certain oversized characteristics usually found in a feminine collection. That is not to take away from the progression of fashion towards new terrain which may not be fully embraced… yet. The long overcoat (seen in the gallery) should wake up the comments section.
