If we were American, we might pay attention to the ‘no white after labour day’ rule. But we’re not, so we won’t. In fact, we’re just gonna come out and say it – we’re still not sure what Labour day. And no, we’re not bothered enough to google it. Ignorance is bliss.

But back to the case in point. White shoes have gained a fearsomely dandyish repuation that has scared most people off it altogether. If you’re a dandy – great. You’ve probably already got several pairs of white shoes and have ordered this pair without even reading what we’re saying. If not however, then don’t be scared – just think of them as smart white trainers. (Revolve)
