New kickers and things from the Giuliano Fujiwara collection for the coming Autumn/Winter 2012 season. Take your pick from the footwear as well as sunglasses, bags, and more from this collection. Small hits of color across the line make it appealing while retaining the classic forms. Rather than being overdone, the Fujiwara accessories and shoes do what they are intended to do: set it off.
Milan is in full swing. Here is a fresh set of looks from Giuliano Fujiwara showcasing their Autumn Winter 2012. Heavy fashion-forward moves from Masataka Matsumura that mix Asian accepted masculine plays with Italian tailoring. Dig in.
We’ve shown you the footwear, we’ve shown you the eyewear. All that’s missing? The main line. If there’s one thing to take from this line, it’s that Fujiwara has clearly ignored the ‘we hate bowties now’ memo that was passed around recently. As for the rest of the line? It’s rather ’80s businessman crossed with upcoming indie band’.
Giuliano Fujiwara provides us with a preview look from their Spring/Summer 2012 footwear collection of sneakers. Slit leathers including some suede plays work into the classic trainer and hi-top forms.
A quick look at a pair of Rx eyeglass frames from the Giuliano Fujiwara Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The half-rim frames will appeal to those (like myself) that prefer a bulkier take on the acetates. The temple looks to be double thick and brings a fresh take to the classic half-rim look. We think they’re excellent. #want
“During Milan Design Week and the Salone del Mobile, Italian light artist Marco Lodola installed a celebratory work of art at the boutique of Giuliano Fujiwara. The event marked the 25th anniversary of the Fujiwara brand and provided perfect occasion to mix fashion, music, and entertainment.”
We’ve been looking at Fujiwara’s accessories for quite some time now, but his knitwear hasn’t been a focus of ours. This season they’ve brought out a jumper worth a second look though, even if the pricetag might make us reconsider. That’s unless one of you find readers wants to be an anonymous benefactor? No? Fair enough. (The Corner)
Giuliano Fujiwara delivers looks at their forthcoming Autumn 2011 bags and accessories. Dig through the gallery for a great collection of shots. Two day bags are prominent on the overall collection with the camel leather – shown above – being the standout.
Yep, we’re still recommending varsities – we really don’t care whether someone else says they’re out or not – as long they still look good, we’ll keep posting them. And this one does look good. It looks like one for the slimmer fellow, mind, but good nonetheless. In the words of a million awful rappers, it’s perfect to get your ’swag’n on’. Apologies for the awful phrase just there, we’re trying to be down with the kidz. (The Corner)
