Gourmet delivers a new video series, “Icons & Derelict” with the first episode featuring ICON 4×4’s Jonathan Ward. ICON 4×4 is an aggressive little company that delivers some very high end takes on the utility trucks. The price of gas aside, these little ICON tanks are beautiful.

We assume you guys have become accustomed to the fact that we like Gourmet – a trainer is a trainer and all that Ornette Coleman. Furthermore, we really don’t see that much difference between a pair of Gourmets and, say, a pair of Rick Owens or Margiela trainers. You won’t look like sprezzed out or like an urban woodsman with these on, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. (Crooked Tongues)

Our affection for a bit of Gourmet is well established by now, even if when we first put it up people accused us of being all over the place style wise. And, thinking about it, that’s 100% true. We like to pick from classic clothing companies, fashion brands and streetwear labels to create a unique look. It’s the spice of life, as no one really says. We’ll leave dressing like a lookbook to those with less imagination. (End)

We’re still out here in these streets, finding more spring sneakers than you shake a shoelace at (although why you’d want to shake a shoelace is anyone’s guess). These Gourmet Uno’s are as simple as a pair of Gourmets will get and the colour’s a no-brainer for spring weather. (Crooked Tongues)

We’re pretty sure no one’s shocked by Gourmet popping up on SL now, or at least we’ll avoid accusations of being all over the place. There is a method to this madness. We’ve always thought a high top was just a high top whether it came from Lanvin or Gourmet. Adding to the long list of brands who straddle the lines between this site and our streetwear-clad big brother is Gourmet. We could wax lyrical for ages about these, but we just like them because they look good. And because they’re on sale. We’re simple like that. (Flatspot)

We actually featured this in our Seven days shoot but they were obscured by some bushes (hey, we never said we were the brightest). So here’s another look at them. Gourmet’s again – footwear is footwear in our books, no time for silly categorising. These cutaway leather ‘joints’ (see that? we’re down with tha kid) are great for those folks obsessed with high tops. Before anyone starts – yes, we know Gourmet are a ’streetwear’ brand. But that doesn’t mean we can’t feature them over here. The lines between streetwear and high end fashion have blurred enough for us to consider Gourmet a crossover brand. Anyhoo, the leather on these is top notch – the same stuff is used by the likes of Louis Vuitton – and the cutaway brings just a dash of the edgy into the mix. And if all that wasn’t enough, it’s also on sale – so you won’t have to break open the piggy bank. (Crooked Tongues)

Gourmet knows how to take luxury to new ends. Their latest collaboration with jeweler Christian Tse has returned a big number item. One can imagine that during the development of their signature 7 carat faced white diamond digital watch that they simply just kept pouring the diamonds on. When pressed the watch mechanism illuminated the time through the diamon face giving it a very distinct glow. Finished in a stingray shagreen strap, the Christian Tse for Gourmet watch is classic bling.
