Today they announced three new products including this Nero slim wallet made from “semi-vegetable” tanned leather, referring to the mix of leather with their wool felt. This hard graft is a slim line wallet and should break in well with age. They run $47.

Finished in a clean brown leather, the Back2Back is more than roomy enough to jam and stuff with your daily essentials. While we would recommend keeping things light to save your back, hard graft claims the bag can house your laptop, mags with some room for clothing as well. A good look.

Give it to hard graft for remaining a strong player in the modern men’s bag movement. Rather than falling on the classic and traditional looks of the past, they continue to develop forward thinking bags that play to the daily needs of a gentleman (and women as well, of course). Their 2Unfold Nero bag, developed back in 2007, gets a slight facelift in black along with some slight variations and updates. Versatile in all aspects, the 2Unfold can be shouldered or carried clutch-style.

This eight card slot holder from the Hard Graft family of all things wool-like should retain heat when stored in your pocket. Two leather pockets store the cards and some cash. You can probably cram some other things in there as well. Simple and to the point. Maybe for you – maybe not.

Before we can even digest the iPad – love it or hate it (I’m not sold… yet) – companies are starting to push out their takes on accessories for the device. Let’s be honest about this. We knew the size of the thing even before yesterday’s announcement, and since its form is as flat as a magazine or book itself, retro fitting a case to cover the unit should have come quick.

Hard Graft is one of many companies that come out of the gates with their “proto” take on the iPad case. It features the familiar hard graft felt wool and leather finish. If  we were to purchase said device, this may well be the case we would consider.

Another new issue from the Hard Graft family of goods. This “Card Phone Wallet” is a bifold slmi credit card wallet that allows you to lock in your iPhone or smart phone. Elastic tape holds everything in place. For the slim minded who want to incorporate their phone into the equation, this may be a perfect match.

A new bag from Hard Graft has dropped and we’re big fans of it. “The 3FOLD is a slim Laptop Bag, a sizable A2 Portfolio Case and a spacious Overnighter. Just switch to the configuration you need, this bag is as flexible as your lifestyle demands. The 3FOLD is handmade from a bespoke vegetable tanned Italian leather which is dyed through and hand finished in grey with a hint of teal. This is juxtaposed with a chestnut brown leather shoulder strap which can be used in all three configurations. The leathers are coloured with natural dyes which enhance the look over time and use.”

They’re assembled in Italy and hand numbered – though we’re not clear of that importance of that. It is, of course, a bag after all is said and done.
