In a surprising (to us at least) pickup, Oki-Ni are now stocking Patrick Grant’s E.Tautz. We’re not so crazy about the applique jumpers (we’ve never been fans of big logos, regardless of who does them) but this Harrington jacket is up our alley. A patchwork harrington was never on our wish list – mainly because we don’t use wish lists or dream of pieces that don’t exist – but this one works rather well. Baracuta have been coming back strong with collaborations with Junya Watanabe and, strangely, Oasis. Their resurgence in popularity can be linked to those who worship at the altar of iconic male movie stars – McQueen and the like. Like the Margaret Howell rucksack we featured yesterday, the only knock against the harrington jacket is that they can be a little boring. However, styled right they can take a new lease of life and make the reader look like he did more than copy an outfit from ‘Take Ivy’. Get it from Baracuta.

We past through the Fred Perry booth this afternoon at Bread & Butter Barcelona and discovered this Wax Harrington Jacket. “Made in England [from fly weight Millerain fabric], the jacket has a cord lined press stud collar, 2 press stud handwarmer pockets, inside zip pocket, vented back, elasticated cuffs and hem, Fred Perry tartan check liner…” Available now from Oi Polloi.

The Baracuta G9 is such a classic, one just should have on in the closet. Recently we presented to you the Beams Plus collaboration and for sure you still have in mind the various Stussy collaborations from last year. Here we present you their latest limited edition version – the Baracuta G9 Slim Limited Punk Edition Harrington.

Paying homage to the 1980s Punk era, Baracuta has produced a limited edition jacket. The jacket comes full with 3 punk badges, a stunning 80’s album cover inspired pink box. Also on the inner lining there is the print “I’m No One’s Lap Dog”, which is also featured on the packaging. The jacket is now available at End.
