Fans of McQueen and moto-riders alike will appreciate this commemorative helment from TAG Heuer. “TAG Heuer has come out with a limited edition motorcycle helmet also inspired by the King of Cool, who wore a Heuer Monaco watch in the film. The retro-styled fiberglass helmet, which features a racing stripe matching the colors on McQueen’s driving gear, vintage Heuer logo, steel hardware and leather trim, is priced at about $650.” (luxist)

Paul Smith just cannot stop teaming up with the very best in cycling. His latest with helmet maker, Giro. “Paul Smith is working with legendary helmet makers Giro. Paul has chosen one style of cycling helmets, which he has customised in three different styles – each feature unique Paul Smith designs. It’s low-profile shape is distinct yet minimal as it has an in mould construction process, Giro was able to intergrate the shell, saving lots of weight.” (acq)

Better than the dope Margiela V-Man jackets that Pharrell and Mr. Michael Stipe have been rocking, is the homemade Daft Punk helmet from Casey Pugh. With rumors of another wave of Daft Punk shows coming in 2009, we can be sure to expect Daft Helmets replacing the lighter and mobile phones soon. (via kanye – what up!)

Italian brand Aspesi presents an interesting new series of motorcycle helmets. The helmets come military green and bordeaux and feature a series of symbols on the upper. 

The limited edition Aspesi helmet series is now available at Andreas Murkudis in Berlin.

We just came across some very special product from Evisu. The Japanese denim company released a Zippo, Teddy Bears and a Helmet. All three pieces come of course covered in denim with lots of nice details. The helmet is a collaboration with Acejet and the lighter with Zippo.
