No one does shirting like Japan’s Iron Heart. They’re built to protect those on motorcycles but they’ll work for your day to day as well. Now, I would usually shy away from Iron Heart in the Summer due to their terrifically thick and proper builds but we’re told these shirts are made especially for the season. “All three breath well and are in a very nice fabric with colors perfect for summer wear.” Three colors to choose from. We’re developing quite the thing for crushed leather buttons here at SL. This time they feature on this Kolor 2/3 button blazer. Like most 2/3 button blazers, this can either be worn with the two lower buttons alone or it could be worn as shown in the pic above. If you were to do the former option,  the lapels would cover the top button and provide a more classic blazer look; the latter gives it more of a ‘pop your collar’ look. Our advice? wear it how you want, it’ll look great either way. (Arks)

An interesting take on the traditional blazer from LOVA. This herrinbone blazer is fitted with front slit pockets with the detail extending the length of the blazer. It has a semi-tailored finish with hand sewn chest piece as well as new old stock sleeve lining dating back to the 60’s. Made in the U.S.A. and available now from Forward.

Yet another nice piece out of the Visvim Fall/Winter 2007/08 collection has been released – the Bickle Herringbone Jacket. The Bickle is a Gore-Tex M-65 jacket and comes in beige, brown and black in Herringbone and has several patches on it, just like the bag series that released earlier this season. The jacket is now available at the Honeyee Store.
