Japanese brand Nil Admirari are the latest designers to put their twist on high tops. While patent leather isn’t a new thing on high tops, the embossing feature makes it stand out, giving off a look of crocodile leather. Designers seem to be treating the name ‘high top’ as a dare, continually creating trainers that go higher and higher up the leg. These Kris Van Assche high tops are almost as high as the Diet Butcher Slim Skin ones we featured a while back and this doesn’t look like it’s going to stop until someone makes a pair of knee high trainers. The new Raf By Raf Simons collection for Fall/Winter 2008 has arrived at Browns, one of our favorite shops in London. Part of the collection is a collaboration with Fred Perry. Basically Raf Simons took over the spot that Junya Watanabe was holding before, as it is an on-going collaboration between the two.

They also got in some new high-top sneakers in black and white. Nice premium leathers, no unnecessary details, just a solid winter sneaker.
