Anyone who finds the idea of luxury hiking boots off putting, look away now. All of you left, we’d like to introduce these Rider Ottawa Boots. Ron Rider’s company is a small family run operation based in Richmond Virginia. Paul Smith Ike Hiking Boot

selectism - Paul Smith Ike Hiking Boot

The winning element of the Paul Smith Ike Hiking Boot is the sole. This unit replicates an original design from the 1948 Winter Games in St. Moritz. Clearly, there’s more than just the sole to give the boot an alpine air. The Fiesta leather upper has been tumbled in mud and stones. This provides an “elusive pre-worn look.” Signature laces and liner print might bring the boot into the present, but the general theme here is vintage. (via Acquire).

Ubiq Carphill Winter Boots

Ubiq Carphill

As the first shoe of the new year Ubiq presents a winter boot of the classic kind. The Carphill is inspired by a classic hiking boot and is sort of a premium version of that. It comes in brown leather, and black and beige suede. The simple aesthetic looks really nice and if you want a quality winter boot that also performs when it gets a little more rough, then this is the way to go!

Chapterworld has them available now. After the jump pictures of the other two colorways.
