We’re confused by this backpack. We know it’s waterproof because it says so in the title on Oki-Ni, but it turns out that only the inside is waterproof. Odd. And to top it all of, the outside is suede – the most rain-adverse material we can think of. Oki-Ni even suggest that you use suede protector before you even risk taking it outside, not the best advertisement for a product that’s launching when autumn’s just around the corner. It’s a nice bag though, and if you have the extra coins (and climate) to pull it off, we’d heartily recommend it. (Oki-Ni)

HOBO retrofits their tassle look onto a pair of Desert Trek Clarks. Now, the Desert Trek solo is one of my favorite day shoes of all time – you can wear them until they break down. It’s one of those items that looks better with wear. But we know where HOBO is pulling this tassled influence from. I wonder how well this shoe will go off in Japan. Available now from oki-ni.
