Mugler NYC Home 05 Thierry Muglers NYC Penthouse

Wanna see what kind of pad being Thierry Mugler will get you? Look no further. The designer has put his $8 Million Chelsea penthouse apartment up for sale. 4.100 sq fooot, just 2 bedrooms and a (relatively) tiny kitchen, the rest of the space is taken up by some questionable art and excessive amounts of sofas. Fair play though, it’s a pretty impressive manor. If you’re looking for somewhere with plenty of sitting down opportunities get in touch with Sotheby’s. Huh has more.

João Canziani Ray Kappe 01 Architect Ray Kappes California Home

OEN uncovered this fantastic photoset from João Canziani. A look at the home of  American architect Ray Kappe, an expert in sustainable design and lecturer in Southern California. The incredible surroundings are framed by huge windows and complimented by a whole lot of wood and multiple levels. This isn’t one of those polished show homes full of Barcelona chairs and obtrusive lighting. This place is lived in and clearly loved. Beautiful images showcasing this knockout house.

ASHIZAWA house 01 Architecture | House S Keiji Ashizawa Design

A little more Japan house envy for a Friday afternoon. This incredible open plan building, all bamboo, wood and sheet upon sheet of glass, is a reminder that great design can make you happy.

We’d be even happier if we actually lived there but sadly wishing does not make it so. “The space was considered first in terms of the light from the outside, the flow of air, and the planning of art. Each level, having four clear seasons with different light and feelings.” More at Knstrct.
