Italy outwear maker, Fay is making a further push in the USA market, according to DNR. “Fay, the Italian outerwear brand, is out to make a name for itself stateside.

The Fay collection, including sportswear and outerwear, moved into the Barneys New York flagship on Madison Avenue last winter and, come fall, it will be rolled out to four additional Barneys doors…The business was founded in 1980 with one hit product, the “4-Hook” coat, inspired by American firemen’s coats.”

When Jamie Hayon was asked to redesign a handful of the retail spaces for Camper shoes, his imagination did not stop with the actual build out. With his recent transformation of Camper’s Milano store into a gallery-concept shop, Hayon included new shoe designs to complement the build-out. As noted by Dezeen, “the shoes combine influences from English bespoke footwear, from dance shoes, and from Camper’s ’sporty’ injection-moulded soles.” Hayon for Camper Shoes are available in many of your favorite bright bold colors.

Luigi Borrelli of Napoli, ITA has been producing some of the finest menswear since the late 50’s. Borrelli was established in Napoli, which is known for its fine tailoring.. they’ve been doing it since the 19th century. This month Borrelli opened new doors in the Roppongi Hills District of Tokyo, adding to their already strong base in Japan.

To highlight the opening, Openers Magazine previews their S/S 2008 collection of blazers, shirts, jackets, and even washed grey denim.

Luxury Italian car maker Pagani, known for its Zonda sports car, has now unveiled at the Geneva Car Show, not a new car, but a luxury sound system. Just like their cars, the sound system comes almost entirely covered in carbon fiber and brushed aluminum.

The system includes 2 vinyl players, CD player, a power amplifier and two tower speakers. So far no price has been mentioned, but it will definitely not come in cheap. Via LuxuryLaunches.

Italy’s VNGRD brand is quickly moving up our favorite’s chart with their Summer 08 Cut & Sew offering. Two pieces that quickly  caught out attention are their belt accessories.

The “Irregular” and “Holed” belts are both handmade in Italy and come in tangerine orange and silver.

Some of the most exciting pieces of the Neighborhood Fall/Winter 2007 collection have now landed at Slam Jam. They received an entire range of outerwear from the Japanese brand. Especially the leather jacket and biker inspired pea coat are nice pieces this season.

Italian sunglass brand Super now released the third model in their line-up, the Eazy Gold frame. It looks exactly like the Eazy frame, that we presented earlier, but has the additional gold plated part in the middle of the sunglasses. They released the Eazy Gold now in a white and a black colorway. All Super sunglasses are handmade in Italy. Available here.
