Forgive us for the bomber barrage we’ve been laying on you guys lately, but we’ve got a thing for them at the moment. This one’s a 60/40 cotton linen affair, so it should be light enough to wear in spring without sweating like a p.i.g. As for details, we like the contrast cuffs which, as the old cliche goes, is a nice twist. (Autograph)

I think it’s safe to say that we’re official members of the Damir Doma outerwear appreciation society (DDOAS for short). And, as members of the DDOAS we feel obliged to point this jacket, which just fell in stores now. We’re still uncomfortable with saying dropped, so we’re gonna say fell instead. This jacket had to find it’s way here one way or another. The world’s gone pattern crazy and a few have gone – dare we say it – overboard. We like a pattern as much as the next person, but even we’ve found our tipping point. Which is why we like this jacket so much, it’s not as crazy as other patterned jackets we’ve seen and it’s got all that gore-tex goodness tech geeks love. Just released, the T.A.D.’s latest re-work of their Stealth soft shell outer. The new Stealth LT Hoodie has been overhauled using Swiss made Schoeller textile for further weather resistance, breathability, and durability.” We of course love highly technical gear especially those pieces that are all-season. The Stealth Lt looks to be one of those which can be used in “humid climate zone to winter conditions.” A couple of colors to choose on this one.

The Visvim “Blackfire Jacket” comes in a washed indigo finish with red/white printed accents on the bottom half of the jacket. The jacket also offers “triple stitch seam work, logo jeans buttons, and custom made fabric.” The lightweight jacket looks to be a very interesting piece for summer. Tres Bien has them.

We’re still obsessed with spring jackets. This happened last year – much to the annoyance of several readers – and we’re at it again. We promise we’ll try and find the perfect panama right after this. In fairness to, ummm, ourselves, this is a linen blend jacket, so at least you’ll be able to wear it in spring. The only issue would be the price tag. (Browns)

Speaking of things we’re fans of, here’s a look at this Damir Doma jacket. While we probably wouldn’t wear Damir Doma in the way it’s worn on the catwalk, we do like pieces like this bomber jacket. On it’s own, it’s pretty much fancy streetwear – and we mean that as a compliment. (The Corner)

Japan’s The Real McCoy’s have just released their version of the BUCO.. The “BUCO J-22 Horsehide Leather Jacket,” is made of “Genuine Horsehide leather” that is “vegetable tanned and aniline dyed.” The jacket has details like gold Talon zippers, 100% wool lining in a “red & black woven houndstooth check pattern.”  Anyone would look untouchable in this jacket. Proxy talk and Cosmic Wonder Light Source are two things that go hand in hand. So it’s nice to see them on western shores and stores, even though the shipping fees and taxes make you realise why more stores don’t buy brands from Japan. The world’s a huge global village until you have to pay some shipping fees. This is a great jacket though, great for the folks who don’t want to go too far too soon on their patterned outerwear. Japanese fashion brand, Isolde Richly, shows us their innovative styling on this calfskin leather jacket. The “Holster” jacket comes in black and has a very useful design detail to it, including an “adjustable holstered leather wallet,” on the inner right side of the jacket. Some other details that the jacket offers are: “twisted sleeve insert construction, diagonal zippered cuff details, two side pockets, and two concealed microzippered inner pockets.” A great way to never lose your wallet and your jacket.
