C.P borrows a little from vintage wax jacket styles and military wear for this belted number. The jacket is dyed using modern techniques that give it an unusual coloration. All the technical elements you’d expect from the brand are present, as well as some nice detail in the form of a cord collar, elasticated cuffs, clasp closures, embossed pop studs, zip placket and 4 flap pockets. Tough enough to protect you from the elements, a great example of the labels continuing run of beautifully put together outerwear. Oi Polloi has them.

A smart camel Mac from French label La Panoplie. The shorter length makes this a little easier to wear than you average Inspector Clouseau style raincoat. As Kanye didn’t say, ‘That ish Rae. burn’. We’ve featured a couple of Raeburn summer jackets before but this is the first time we’ve seen Raeburn’s Victorinox collaboration in stores. First off, what we like about this coat: the way it looks. WHat we don’t like: the price. It’s that simple. There’s more details than you can shake a detail stick at – they exist, don’t ask us where to find them – but at nearly a grand, we don’t blame anyone if it’s outside of their pay bracket. (Oki-Ni)

This Spiewak take on the N1 U.S Navy jacket might rattle some vintage heads (no chinstrap, waxed cotton…) but details aside it’s a good solid take on a much loved classic. As mentioned the shell is waxed cotton, the lining is a thick warm wool, the collar trimmed in mouton and the drawstring, ribbed cuffs and slant pockets as featured on the original are all there too.
