They have since expanded their collection by introducing another great piece, the “G10 Harrington Jacket”. The jacket offers a “shower resistant coating, mesh lining, internal pockets.

For some of you in the world, you’re probably experiencing some awesome summer weather. But here in San Francisco, it’s still raining with a slight chance of sun here and there. So jackets are pretty much a necessity all year round.  F.S.C shows us their new “Spring Ventile Parka” that is completely water resistant and perfect for sporadic weather conditions. The jacket features “6 external pockets” with “genuine corozo buttons,” and is all handmade in New York City. A great piece from a company that’s keeping American manufacturing alive.

More slightly out of season goodness! This time it’s this Opening Ceremony double breasted jacket that’s patterned the eff out. We’d ideally wear it on top on a contrasting pattern – we hear floral will be big this season – for full flashy effect. If you’re gonna stand out you might as well go the whole hog. As Prodigy would say, ain’t so such thing as halfway fashion statements. (Farfetch)

We kinda like this and we kinda don’t. On one hand, we like the 2 colours and think it could look cool on the right person (that right person being anyone with a bit of confidence about themselves). On the other hand, you do run the risk of looking like it’s something you made from a bunch of your old discarded jackets. As of right now, we’re leaning towards the first sentence, but don’t blame us if you look more like the second. (Oki-Ni)

The OC and the Pendleton folks continue their affair with this season’s new collab collection. Our favourite has to be this moto jacket. Which, with ’subtle snakeskin, horseshoe emblems and blazon’ blazers’, sounds very wrong on paper. But, as any fans of sports cliches will know, looking at something on paper isn’t the best judge of how it’ll work out in reality. (Opening Ceremony)

If you’re still looking for a good camo jacket and can’t find a suitable version down your local army surplus, let us point you in the right direction. This Mountain Research jacket has a cool camo pattern (and we’re all about cool camo and alliteration). It’s all organic cotton too, which would be a nice talking point at a rally. Despite the dearth of Visvim here, we do like what they do. However, we also feel it’s impossible to talk about Visvim without mentioning the elephant in the navajo blanketed room – their prices. This coverall is relatively affordable and, aside from stretching the word relative to its logical limits, it’s a pretty great piece. (Nitty Gritty)

Tech fanatics, this one’s for you. Arc’teryx veilance have been impressing the geekier side of menswear for a year or so now and pieces like this are why. Us? Honestly, we kinda like the colour more than anything. Call us shallow, but it is what it is. We’ll save the ‘level 3 layer’ talk to Wired magazine, we just wanna look good. (Superdenim)

If anything’s been proven over the last few seasons, it’s that British Millerian wax fabric is as addictive to designers as the mafia was for Michael Corleone. Baracuta have made a wax G4 for their 137 Project and it’s perfect for the elbow patch lovers out there.
