You can see the full graphic after the click, but for those who wonder how they went from a Bentley in “From Russia with Love” to A Chevy in “Live and Let Die,” you may not find answers. Our guess is that it came down to Sean Connery’s preference and maybe Mr. Moore getting shafted a little. Nothing wront with a Chevy, but it’s no Bentley. The again the Bentley reign did not last too long. Judge for yourself.

Tom Ford has designed the “James Bond 007″ sunglasses. The sunglasses are not only part of his Spring/Summer 2009 collection, but James Bond is actually wearing them in Quantom Of Solice” as well. The sunglasses are an upgrade from the classic flight sunglasses and are available in two colorways.

Though they were willing to change the suit on the man (hello Tom Ford), they could not pull James Bond away form his Omega.

Since as far back as “Goldeneye”, 007 has been sporting an Omega Seamaster Diver on his wrist. With the new Bond flick, The Quantum of Science” around the corner, Omega has revamped the 300M model for the occasion. Call it the end of a legacy. Since as far back as 1995, every James Bond expedition has had him suited up by Italian house, Brioni. But that legacy is about to change.

Times Online is reporting/confirming that Tom Ford International is now the choice tailor for the Bond character. Reporting from Panama Times Online mentions, “from its temporary base over there, which may well be underwater and made of glass, a spokesman admits that Tom Ford International will now be dressing Daniel Craig. Then, she appears to take fright, insisting that any announcement has to come from the designers themselves, and diving, fretfully, off the record.”

Other news outlets have reported that Daniel Craig has already torn through as many as 50 suits during the filming. We’ll see the outcome on the big screen shortly.

The ultimate style icon has now also found his way onto stamps. A new set of extra-long British stamps featuring covers from the James Bond novels has been issued by the Royal Mail today. Issued to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the James Bond creator, Ian Fleming, each stamp begins with the cover from first edition hardbacks before progressing through paperback versions from the 1960’s, 70’s/80’s and current Penguin editions.
