More from Milan: A look at the new Jil Sander collection from Raf Simons. WWD says that “Simons said backstage he was keen to explore archetypal male clichés: the businessman, the father, the office nerd.” He does it through an awfully heavy use of leathers and synthetic textiles that bind the models, while exploring said avenues. Put aside the leather and sheen and the collection includes fit proper garments that remain… black. We are fans of the gloves and that lunch bag, for sure.

Everyone in trendland – an actual place, we’ve been there – is raving about the aran cable knit jumper this season. On one hand, we like it – it’s a bonafied classic after all and there’s no better time to get a luxe version of something you’ll still be wearing in 20 years than when it’s hot in the streets. On the other hand, we want something that’ll stand out a little. And that’s where this Jil Sander piece comes in. It’s not so crazy that you’ll look crazy, but it’s different enough from the sea of aran to warrant our attention. (Farfetch)

Jil Sander has teamed up with LG Electronics to deliver their first mobile phone running the Windows 7 platform. As they mention in their press release Jil Sander “want[s] to get closer to our customers by creating this mobile device which incorporates the unique JIL SANDER DNA both inside and outside.” We have to admit, the phone design looks great with clean lines and textures. It comes bundled with a new Jil Sander shopping/experience app. The phone will be made available in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and UK.

These smart Jil Sander shoes are a little bit special. 100% calfskin, simple Derby style construction, the key is the thick, bordering on chunky, sole. The asymmetrical tread may go unseen but it’ll make some pretty cool patterns on a snowy day. It’s the little things. lncc has them.

This iPad cover from Jil Sander is a minimalist dream. Italian leather to keep your beloved tablet scratch free, simply slide in and carry proudly under your arm or store away for safe keeping. It’d be a shame not to show this one off though, this colourway isn’t for hiding. Over at oki-ni.

Trawling through Yoox is a little tiresome at times at best, but there are some good picks to be found. Take these Jil Sander derbies for instance. They’re pretty, tanned and only £195. What more can we say? (Yoox)

The Prada Group shows us their take on the newest collection from Jil Sander. Since Sander’s exit, the brand continues to  produce strong garments. This season they show a modern touch on the classic v-neck cardigan. The “mini-knit lapel collar in contrasting white” is a really interesting detail that spruces the garment up. A very formal look, yet still entices a very casual feel. Made in Italy. AR has them.

The Mr. Porter order map must be on fire with this Jil Sander striped joint. Falls well in line with the tr**ds (censored) for Spring and Summer.
