chanel the little black jacket project 1 The Little Black Jacket by Chanel Project

Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld put together a little photoshoot for the Chanel house. The Little Black Jacket brings together a slew of high society types including Yoko Ono, Sarah Jessica Parka, Kanye West, Theophilus London, and Claudia Schiffer for a project that Highsnob has labeled as “stunning.” I’m not sure we would go that far. “Classy” would be our choice keyword.

lagerfed apt 1 Use Karl Lagerfelds Toilet
Fashion kingpin Karl Lagerfeld has put his New York home back on the market after listing it last year for $5.2 million and then pulling it off the market. The three bedroom apartment, weighing in at 2,151-square-feet is still priced the same, though residents of the building can’t say for sure whether or not the designer ever actually lived there. But, like we said, if there’s an open house, there’s an opportunity to … use Karl Lagerfeld’s toilet (almost pictured).

Diane von Fürstenberg for Diet Coke Limited Edition Bottles

In a bit of news that almost makes us want to drink some Diet Coke, fashion icon Diane von Fürstenberg lends her sensibilities to the low-calories soda for some bottle wraps that celebrate her knack for moving prints.

Following in the footsteps of old Karl Lagerfeld—who designed a series of bottles last last year (and who supposedly dropped 90 pounds in 2001 by drinking only Diet Coke and eating steamed vegetables)—Fürstenberg’s collector’s edition comes with four bottles and is priced at a bubbly $30. One-hundred-percent of the proceeds go to the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health in support of The Heart Truth program for women’s heart health research. The beverage inside still tastes like melted Styrofoam.

St. Dupont Pens By Karl Lagerfeld

Mr. Lagerfeld continues to dip his fingers into various design outlets. Be it cola bottles or photography of chocolate, he clearly is not limiting his works to one arena. The latest is a collection of pens with St. Dupount. Choose between two variations: “Prestige” in red lacquer or “Chic” in black with palladium “attributes.”  Those seeking fountain pens will find them amongst the rollerballs in either collection. As shown on Materliste.
