ML Brown for Outlier Braided Keychains

ML Brown for Outlier Braided Keychains

Braided leather keychains remain a useful accessory for those on the go. They lock in that keyfob (using that word now) and ensure that you dont lose your freaking keys while riding or walking. ML Brown and Co. worked these for our friends at Outlier. Keys are locked down by a Harken-5 stainless steel shackle. Well made and a strong gift for anyone in your life, but better for the guys. Do not confuse them for bicycle locks, please.

yuketen keychain 02 Yuketen Cordovan Keyfob (Keychain)

Another Christmas list idea. Start throwing out those hints now, this fob is 100% cordovan goodness. We’re not sure what the leather equivalent of the denim Texas Tuxedo is, but if you want to make a full on luxury hide statement match this to your Cordovan shoes and belt and let the sweet times roll. A Yuketen badge on one side and a Horween leather stamp on the other, Norse Store has them.

billykirk keyring 01 Another Look | Billykirk Leather Key Ring

Billy Kirk elevates the keyring beyond its usual status as ‘free gift with purchase’. Brass clip, hand oiled brown leather, nickel silver closure – the teardrop cut is what makes this a little bit special. We know it’s just something to hang your keys on but if you find yourself handling an object at least twice a day it may as well be as pleasing to the eye as possible. Find it at Need Supply .

Altadena Works Split Keyrings

Altadena Works Split Keyrings

Fans of 70’s outdoors gear will already be aware of the good work California based Altadena Works have been doing in the backpack world. They also do a pretty nice line in keyrings, well that’s one key ring to be exact but a smart little number it is indeed. The Split Keyring is hand forged in Japan resulting in variations with each product. However the real selling point for any nostalgia folk is that this is a remake of a 1920’s ‘Sweet Orr’ keychain, a much sort after workwear brand among vintage hunters. You’d be hard pressed to find an original so get your hands on this little homage to the past.

Selectism - ralph-lauren-braided-keyring-01

What can we say about this keyring that hasn’t been said about other keyrings? Not much, to be honest. This one’s green, it’s braided and it’s from Polo. And that’s all there is to it. (Nitty Gritty)

Selectism - OAK Large Foxtail Keychain

Getting back to those swinging days with this foxtail keychain. Foxtail kills the rabbit foot with no question, but be careful rocking this in situations where the girls may look at you funny. It’s an authentic foxtail with a lobster clip on the end. Pharrell will be rocking this shortly with the Nike snowboard boots. OAK makes them.

Selectism - Ettinger Wallets Purple Collection

Since posting the Browns Mainline Multi-colored wallets, we thought it would be fair to showcase some other players in the fine men’s wallet game. Ettinger of London is another heritage line that has developed a grand set of collection, working with the likes of automaker, Bentley, and tennis’ Wimbledon. “Founded by Gerry Ettinger over 70 years ago, the company is still family owned and run by his elder son, Robert Ettinger. We are one of the few remaining British luxury leather goods companies still manufacturing in the UK and pride ourselves on designing and hand crafting only the finest leather goods.” Above we showcase their “Purple Collection” of finely crafted leather wallets, keyholder, and coin purses for the gentleman.
