Here’s some surprisingly sensible shoes from a good ol’ SL fave. Lad Musician, known for their love of all things music related, have released these handsome devils out as part of their SS10 collection. One of the brands I hope to get some time with in Tokyo next week is Lad Musician. The just released a new “melton double cloth” duffle coat onto the market which has some of the finest tailoring out there today in coat of this nature. Check the images. The shoulder treatments are gems. A solid coat for the winter. Wear it well.

Lad Musician have long been one of our favourite Japanese brands for two reasons. Firstly, they make great clothes and secondly, we can get hold of them without the need to have a friend in Japan. They’ve just dropped their AW09 collection online – Japan only at the moment – and these holdalls are the pick of the bunch.

The blog love for canvas bags has slowed lately, but we still like ‘em – especially when they’re as good as these. They’re perfect for an overnight stay or trip to the gym and they come in black, grey and brown. (Lad Musician)

Like we said they’re Japan only right now, but they’ll be sure to drop at Opening Ceremony soon enough.

There is something damn dirty about this group of t-shirts from Success Rocker / Lad Musician. The whole Death Metal movement is Scandinavian and Floridian in some regard but the Japanese line knows how to take their toned down approach to it and re-appropriate it for the Japan crowds who like nothing more than the grasp onto anything and everything (in a positive way). Put away your Oxford. It’s the summer. Sweat a little.

Japan’s Lad Musician delivers a array of color options for their seasons collection of shorts. The above the knee trouser cut shorts are plain front with no pleat and rest well on the form. Be aware, these are cut for the Japan market so be sure to size to fit. (lm)

Japan’s Lad Musician Rafa Vests are special. Some would use them for laying your lazy hand into the high rise pockets rather than in your trousers. Others prefer the easy storage in the bulbs of the vest. We think they’re simply something different.

Lad Musician have been upping their use of canvas lately, we posted about their canvas boots and now they’ve added these bags to their range. The bags themselves are a tote/messenger hybrid and like their boots, they’re available in a multitude of colours, including red and white (pictured above) and khaki, navy, black and grey.
