Although their high tops get all the attention, the other pieces of Diet Butcher Slim Skin’s collection is pretty covetable as well. Take these leather jackets for instance. They have a definite Rick Owens-esque quality about them but the colours immediately making them something Owens himself would never design. The jacket is slim-fit and silk lined, making them more appropriate for the early days of spring.

The Corner usually does well when it comes to styling pieces, but the shot of this Rick Owens leaves a little to be desired. But Rick Owens pieces aren’t the easiest to mix with other designers, so we can give them a little leeway. Carol Christian Poell’s Leather Jacket for Spring/Summer 2008 looks like it can resists any pounding. the cut is reminiscent of a tailored shirt with its sharp collar, but its short slim and above the belt cut looks more proper for off road moto-cross.
