Here’s something you’ll see at the forthcoming Baselworld. If you love your watches, you’ll be interested to know what’s inside the Spido Speed. Luckily, Linde Werdelin have included two ‘making of’ features, which buck the trend of most making of features in that they’re actually interesting. Linde Werdelin delivers another set of modern day watches for today’s man. Their latest timepieces  come in as part of the Spidolites “family.” “The new versions come in either all black titanium DLC coating or rose gold with black DLC details. Linde Werdelin breaks through with new 88 unit run of the DLC in yellow. The rugged looking watch should charm many. “Following the success of the first series, Linde Werdelin launches the Hard Black DLC II, a model based on the One with a new case finish, which ensures an even tougher DLC coated case. Launching at Baselworld is the new Linde Werdelin Oktopus 1111 meter diver watch. This deep diver is very much a man’s watch, especially in the DLC steel finish. “The new limited edition by Linde Werdelin will be available in four variations of steel, titanium, black DLC steel and 18kt yellow gold.”

Hodinkee sat down with Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin, the Founders Of Linde Werdelin Sport Watches about the growth of their luxury sports watch business. “Linde Werdelin is a relative new comer in a field of luxury sports watches dominated by industry kingpins like Rolex, Omega, and Audemars Piguet. So why is it that they have garnered so much attention in the short time these boyhood friends have been making watches? We sat down with Linde Werdelin co-founders Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin to find out.”

We’ve mentioned the Linde Werdelin watch company before- they’re Two Timer Biformeter is a killer specimen into what man can do with machines. Now they are back with something new in the form of the Spidolite Chronographs. Hodinkee describes the new titanium based watches best, “The real news-worthy piece of this release is that the SpidoLite is the first of many watches from Linde Werdelin that will feature movements from independent manufacturers.  In fact, they will release a new watch every single year that features an independent movement.  The watches will of course be produced in limited numbers (as the SpidoLite skeleton will be released in a run of only 44).” Drilled Ti. With every watch we feature, we’re finding it more and more complicated to relay how indestructible a timepiece can be. Ablogtoread has just reviewed the latest from Linde Werdelin’s Two-Time Biformeter collection. What the company outputted is clearly a work of power. As ABTR states, “a degree of confidence and a feeling of arduous strength.” The Two Timer Biformeter has two features which distinguish it form the pack – 1. a GMT hand which can be used as a second time-zone indicator and 2. and legibility via the use of Super-LumiNova, an ultra expensive luminant that prices out at about $7 grand per pound.

Switzerland’s Linde Werdelin pronounces their watches – the Elemental and Two Timer – as "the only true sports watch of today." Their claim is a strong one seeing as their watches allow for the attacement of a variety of Instruments to the face of their chronos. Example: the "Land Instrument" is a a basic avalanche sensor that captures temperature changes for the mountaineer and skiier. Their "Sea Instrument" is a dive computer with a transreflective screen.
