Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso Watch for Mad Men

Hodinkee turns us onto a new special edition Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso which takes the classic watch first introduced in 1931 and gives it a 2012 step-back look in honor of the television series, “Mad Men.” The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra-Thin Tribute To “Mad Men” has a run of 25 units and features the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce logo hand-engraved on the caseback. The show returns this Sunday with nine Emmys on the shelf and 17 nominations in its pocket—including one for Bryant’s costume design.”

As Panopticist has pointed out, when the last frame flickers off the screen and the credits start to roll, ‘font freaks’ have noticed something maybe no one else would have. The end credits are set not in the iconic sans serif used in the opening-credits sequence, and not in, say, Helvetica, which was designed in 1957 and became popular soon thereafter, but in Arial, history on Arial.
