Visionaire, who with issue 6 created what could well be the largest magazine ever made, take it down a little with a exhibit of the world smallest book – and it looks pretty  damn small. The image above shows the “novel,” a spec of black in this press shot. I am really curious to see what the hell is inside. Another great magazine release. Dapper Dan manages to offer something a little conceptual without crossing the line into pretentious. Described as a magazine “interested in inspiration, not novelty”, now on its fourth issue, the Athens publication features pieces on Kris Van Assche, Ann Demeulemeester, Richard Wirick, Paolo Rovers, Robert Rabensteiner, Philip Aarons, AA Bronson, Jung and Wenig and musician Piero Ilov.

No Brow, the illustration magazine, has just released their latest issue. Launched to change how people perceived illustration, they’ve raised the page count (now at 128) and made a double flip-cover. In the words of Mr Sean Carter, what else can they say-ayyyy?

“Boardwalk Empire” fans will recognize Another Man #13’s cover model, Michael Pitt. In season two of the HBO show, Pitt’s character is stuck between loyalty to the man who raised him and the emerging changes in the Atlantic City scene. Hedi Slimane shoots Pitt for the Autumn/Winter issue of Another Man. On newsstands now.

Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci, guest directed  the cover shot for the special October 2011 20th anniversary issue of the great Dazed & Confused magazine. As stated in the announcement, “Many of the models discovered and championed by Tisci present personally chosen pieces from his six-year reign at Givenchy.” Former Dazed fashion director, Katy England, and photographer, Matthew Stone also worked the affair.  On sale this Thursday, September 15
