Tired of interior design rags with overly posed and styled rooms? Apartamento celebrates the everyday interior. Well worn objects and spaces championed over the shiny and new. The magazine launched just recently, with its first issue a Summer/Fall 2008 production. In its pages, interiors lead to personal stories and the peculiarities that make each individual place special to its inhabitant. Worth seeking out.

No one expected the successful Hedi Slimane and Dazed Japan party held in Tokyo back in July to be the end of the road for these two. Their back together, in print, for the November special issue of Dazed Japan entitled "Music+Fashion." Expect it on newsstands through Asia on Oct 12th and at finer importers worldwide. (via frillr)

Our friends at JC Report check in with an interview with Andre Walker covering his much anticipated magazine launch for Tiwimuta. "Andre Walker is best described as  a creative maverick. As a style maven for over 20 years, Walker has navigated the fashion capitals of New York, London and Paris as an industry insider, while also designing for Willi Smith and his own eponymous line of clothes. Walker currently works as a secret weapon of a design consultant for several brands but has also recently turned to magazine land with Tiwimuta."

Men.style comes through with news on the latest project from one of our favorite mag men, Evanly Schindler. "The world of high-concept glossies might not exactly be underpopulated, but Evanly Schindler and Maurizio Marchiori, founders of Tar, have got chops likely to keep them ahead of the pack: Schindler founded BlackBook, and Marchiori was Diesel’s worldwide ad honcho. The premiere issue showcases their eclectic editorial sensibility, including art and prose from the likes of Matthew Barney, Christiane Amanpour, and Julian Schnabel…" Tar will launch this October.

No… Not pulling them off (unless you have some help). GQ is talking about how to fashion that dangerous white denim onto men and getting it right! With tips on what and what not to wear as well as a visual guide to some of their favorite white denim brands, GQ’s guide is sure to make you at least think about buying into the colour white.

i-D magazine got together with artist Kaws and Original Fake to create both the cover design and a couple of page spreads inside the issue. i-D is running two covers for the issue, one is featuring the word "Original", the other one "Fake". A true collectors piece. Something for all magazine fans and of course Kaws fans.

Designboon has the scoop on the newly unveiled Esquire 75th Anniversary celebratorycovers, as shown in Milan. “esquire recently asked some of the world’s most influential fashion designers to recreate some of the magazine’s most iconic covers. the project was initiated to celebrate the magazine’s 75 anniversary. all of the works, with the exception of one, are based of covers conceived by esquire’s long time art director george lois. in his career with the magazine, he helped create 92 covers. a show featuring highlights from his career is currently on show at new york’s museum of modern art.”

New York Times online fashion magazine T Online has changed genders this weekend to focus on Spring 2008 for Men.

“In T’s Spring 2008 Men’s Fashion issue, Clooney tackles politics and baseball; the Playboy magazine big kahuna dishes on the small pleasures of pajamas; and multo-macho Italian actors like Ignazio Oliva take center stage. Elsewhere, Riccardo Scamarcio plays an ungroomed, unshowered homeless man in an upcoming film, but if the musty smell of manhood doesn’t hit you in his T photo shoot (styled by Dolce and Gabbana), then the boxer Wladimir Klitschko will surely connect.”
