We’ve always liked our high end bits, but our tastes have been on high alert ever since the world’s started imitating a lookbook shoot. And what does that mean? We’ve been in one of Ray J’s seven rolls royces we like pieces like this Missoni number. It’s the sort of piece that doesn’t scream designer (unlike, say, Prada’s custom luggage) but it’s a handsome cardigan. Now all we need is to go all America Gigolo so we can afford it. (Browns)

We’re sure these have done the blogger rounds but eff it, we still like ‘em. Our big problem with Chucks is that they’re ridiculously uncomfortable – something that’s apparently been fixed in these Missoni versions. They’ve added a comfier midsole so you don’t feel every pebble on the streets when you’re out and about. And, so we don’t sound too much like our parents, these are also stezzy (is that what the kids say?). [Aloha Rag]

Supernews turns us onto the new Missoni Hotel opening March 1st in Kuwait. Expect the Missioni influence via textiles throughout the hotel. “After opening its very first property in edinburgh in 2009, Hotel Missoni’s focus shifts to the Middle East. It’s in Kuwait where its second property opens its doors on Tuesday, March 1. The collab venture of the Italian Missoni fashion brand and the Rezidor hotel group, the new property features 169 rooms and suites, and is part of the upscale symphony centre mall downtown.”

We have seen Evian work with many designers over the years. Now Italian brand San Pellegrino is also getting into the game and presents a collaboration with Italian fashion house Missoni. As Fashionisto tells us, Italy’s Missoni has  ditched the runway show for their Autumn 2010 presentation. Instead, it’s presentation time. “Missoni is becoming quite the personal brand. For their spring 2010 campaign, the Missoni family replaced the usual models and now for Milan they have staged a presentation in lieu of a runway show. Showcasing nineteen layered looks, Missoni continues their signature printed reign with the addition of vivid patching and the surprise appearance of lush fur.”
