Our Snob brothers profiled the 2012 “Kittens of 2012″ Calendar as published by Lovecat Magazine; we found it difficult to resist doing the same. Lovecat considered itself a zine for, about and regarding all things “models.” While I am neither a model nor a student of the industry, I do know that looking at the emerging faces of future runways is probably something I should pay much more attention to for doing my job (at least I try to convince myself that I do). The Lovecat calendar is a straight 12 month affair, though we’re hoping more calendars of this nature consider running in 18 month blocks.

Vanity Fair Italy (and other Italian press outlets) worked the exclusive first look inside the 2012 Pirelli Calendar. Of course, the content is the beauty of the female form. Mario Sorrenti photographs this year’s models including Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich and Saskia de Brauw (above). Past photographers of the Pirelli calendar include Terry Richardson and Karl Lagerfeld.
